About the Experience

Check in at the heli base in Palmer, then lift off for a short, spectacular flight across braided rivers and blue ice to the Knik Glacier. After landing, your guide outfits you with a dry suit, water shoes, PFD, and helmet, then leads a relaxed, photo-forward stroll on the ice. If you choose, slip into the dry suit and ease into the mirror-calm glacier lake for an unforgettable (and surprisingly comfortable) float—while your guide keeps a close eye on conditions and safety. No pressure and no rush: this outing is about quiet moments, crisp air, and the timeless textures of the glacier.
