About the Tour
Experience the most epic glacier adventure with this private 4-hour tour on the Knik Glacier Pools. Guests will be provided with dry suits to stay warm while exploring the freezing cold glacial water. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll practice jumping into the glacial lake and learn how to use the dry suit and Personal Flotation Device. This preparation ensures your safety and confidence during the paddleboard adventure around the glacier melt pool, which is carefully monitored by your guide.

Special Requirements
This tour is designed for adventurous individuals aged 13 and older with moderate fitness. Swimming skills are recommended but not required. Please be prepared for rapidly changing, extreme Alaskan weather and dress warmly with thick socks. Guests who are not properly prepared may be denied participation due to risk of hypothermia.
Restrictions
Due to equipment limitations, guests must be between 5’0” and 6’6” (152 cm to 198 cm) in height and have waist sizes between 28” and 48” (71 cm to 122 cm). For sizing questions, call 907-272-7777.

Important Information
Alaska Helicopter Tours uses multiple 3-passenger Robinson 44 helicopters with a per-seat weight limit of 300 lbs and combined passenger limit of 600 lbs. Larger groups may fly in 2 or 3 helicopters but stay together. Passengers over 250 lbs incur an additional seat surcharge. For groups larger than 3 or passengers exceeding weight limits, contact reservations for options.
Passenger Weights
Accurate weights are required at booking to plan seating and balance. Weights are confirmed at check-in by weighing passengers. Inaccurate weight info may result in denied boarding without refund. Seating assignments follow FAA-approved safety guidelines.
Cancellation Policy
- Full payment due 72 hours prior
- Full refund for cancellations made 72 hours or more before tour date
- Bookings canceled less than 72 hours before are non-refundable but can be rescheduled for a fee
- No-shows or late arrivals forfeit payments unless Trip Protection was purchased
- Weather or safety-related cancellations result in full refunds
- Same-day rescheduling may not be accommodated; $200 fee applies for changes within 72 hours without Trip Protection
