• Total weight includes clothing and shoes

Baggage Policy

• Canes or walking sticks
• Drones

Lockers are provided at the base.

No smoking for the duration of the tour.

Transportation

• Guests must make their own way to the TEMSCO base
• Furthest pier → approx. 1-mile walk
• S.M.A.R.T Shuttle available: $3 per person
• Return transportation provided after the tour (back to ship or to town)

Mobility & Physical Requirements

• Approx. 200 ft (30 m) walk to the aircraft and to the glacier camp
• Two steps of about 18" to enter/exit the helicopter
• Glacier surface is uneven with cracks and rocky terrain
• Approx. ¼-mile guided walk on the glacier
• Guests must board and exit the helicopter without lifting assistance

Aircraft Seating

Seating is assigned based on weight and balance. Groups may be split between helicopters for safety reasons, but all passengers reunite on the glacier.

Lap Children

• Under 24 months: free, rides on a parent’s lap
• 24+ months: must occupy their own seat (FAA requirement)

Minors

• Ages 12–17: require parental consent if flying without a parent
• Under 12: must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

What to Wear

• Warm layers (clothing is not provided)
• Gloves, hat, sunglasses
• Comfortable walking shoes

Over-boots are provided for glacier walking.

Cancellation Policy

• Weather cancellation: full refund
• Guest cancellation:
• More than 24 hours prior → 90% refund (10% fee)
• Within 24 hours → non-refundable
• TEMSCO may cancel up to 1 hour before departure due to weather
