About the Experience

Your adventure begins at the Hilton Head Helicopter terminal, where our friendly staff will greet you and guide you through the check-in process. After completing your Liability Release and logbook endorsement, you’ll meet your instructor for a short ground safety and flight theory session. During this training, you’ll learn about helicopter controls, aerodynamics, and essential FAA safety protocols (SFAR 73 briefing).

Next, it’s time for a hands-on pre-flight inspection. Your instructor will walk you through each step, from checking the rotor blades to reviewing the instrument panel. Once you’re ready, you’ll climb aboard and take off for an exhilarating 30-minute flight. Under the careful supervision of your instructor, you’ll have the chance to take the controls and fly the helicopter yourself!

This isn’t just a sightseeing tour — it’s a real flight lesson that lets you experience the freedom, precision, and excitement of helicopter flight from the pilot’s seat.
