This was quite literally one of the best experiences I've ever had. My mother and I flew with Ben, a kind and experienced pilot who worked with us on a completely custom flight path and itinerary. The views were unforgettable, and I couldn't be more grateful. Nothing beats the natural wonders we saw. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend.
I’ve thought long and hard about this review. This was our first helicopter ride, and in that respect, it was really cool. But that’s kinda where it ends. I was under the impression that by taking my entire family of 5 on a 20 minute ride we would “see a lot more stuff” as the guy on the phone told us when we signed up and paid. First, we saw no Yellowstone. Never had that explained to me that the helicopter doesn’t go over the park. Makes sense in retrospect. But what it does go over was … boring. Two mountains and some water and back to the landing pad. For 1200 I could have taken my kids on a horse ride AND a white water rafting outing. I’d say definitely find a helicopter ride to go on but this one probably isn’t it. Also the pilots explanation for why they don’t do Yellowstone was “you don’t want to do that it’s flat over there.” But last time I saw aerials of the grand prismatic they looked pretty darn cool.
What a fantastic experience. Ben and Zach were awesome. We did the 30 minute flight and it exceeded expectations. Few things can compete with a trip to Yellowstone National Park but this flight experience does exactly that. From scheduling to check-in and the flight itself, just a great job. We had an incredible time with Zac on an early September trip. He made us feel very comfortable and safe, especially important for our first time in a helicopter. The weather was perfect and the flight was very smooth. Zac and Chase were very accommodating and helped me plan a special, custom experience. I am grateful that they were able to tailor the trip to our needs. I would 100% recommend this charter to anyone, new or experienced.
Zach and Chase made checkin a breeze and gave us a great overview of our flight plan before ushering us out to the helicopter. Zach was our pilot for the early morning coveted flight. He did a great job making us all feel comfortable and gave us lots of info, including a bit of history on Bison Bison Bison. Weather was perfect, and we had some solid spots to take in the scenery. The snow covered mountains from the helicopter were spectacular. While the route did not fly over the national park it was amazing all the same.
