A life changing experience for our family! We spent a day trying scuba diving with Faith, Jackson, Steve and the crew and were blown away by away by the patience and excitement they had for our family of six. From check in until dropped back off at the shop, we were treated so kindly and with joy that our family was getting to experience the pacific from below the surface!
1. The marine life we saw was breathtaking! Turtles 🐢 and an octopus 🐙 which were top picks for us.
2. Our teen was so scared and planned on not diving, but Steve was so patient and took her under his wing and next thing we knew she was zipping past us!
3. The captain and crew were so excited for our family and made us feel part of the Trident team.
We hope to one day come back to Hawaii. And trident Adventures will be the focus of any trip we are able to make. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend all of our days here with them!
Incredible Helicopter Adventure with Trident Adventures in Oahu
Our helicopter dive trip with Trident Adventures in Oahu was legendary! My brother, two friends, and I kicked our visit off with a helicopter jump— you read that right—directly onto our first south shore dive site. WHO DOES THIS?!? (We do!)
Once in the water, we were guided by Faith, whose calm expertise kept us on track. She knew the sites like the back of her hand taking us to “the honey hole” of turtles and sharks. We rode scuba scooters, easily zooming around to see more reef and structure than we otherwise would have. She pointed out critters from the huge (a white tipped reef shark) to the tiny (nudibranch) and everything in between. Did I mention she taught is how to run the scooters??!!
Milo was our behind-the-scenes logistics wizard—handling gear, transport, and timing with precision efficiency. From the marina to the heli-pad, to the dive boat and back, he kept everything dialed in so we could focus on the experience.
We felt like kings! Steve and the whole crew made sure we were having a blast. If you’re looking for a dive operation that blends elite-level adventure with top-tier professionalism and heart, Trident Adventures is it. We’re already planning our return trip to up our level of helicopter proficiency!

I started the first day with a 2 tank boat dive (pipeline & a beautiful wreck dive with swim throughs) 😍 Second day Helo jump and scuba with DPV! And if you’re even thinking about the helicopter jump dive — do it!! It’s absolutely unreal. The amount of marine life seen on my dives was incredible! From start to finish, they deliver an experience that goes way beyond diving, it’s pure ocean magic mixed with Navy-SEAL-level professionalism. The crew is next-level! They truly roll out the red carpet and give you the full princess treatment! They provide everything you need and more! His communication was clear, reassuring, and very well received, making the experience not only smooth but truly enjoyable.

We had an outstanding scuba diving trip with Trident Adventures. Steve and his team are excellent—highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, taking great care to address each diver's individual needs. We explored the fantastic wreck sites of the Sea Tiger, the YO-257, and the San Pedro. The marine life at all three locations was impressive, with frequent sightings of green sea turtles and large schools of reef fish. The dive equipment was in superb condition and impeccably maintained, and the boat was spotless. The selection of refreshments for the surface interval was a thoughtful detail. We would highly recommend Trident Adventures for a safe and memorable diving experience.
