A unique experience with a beautiful view of the stunning geography of Cape Town. However, for the money you pay, we expected a bit more. Approximately 200 euros per person. For that, you get an 18-minute flight in an old helicopter with a pilot who doesn’t say anything and provides no information about the surroundings. It was also not possible to talk to your fellow passengers. A great experience if you’re a fan of Cape Town, but perhaps other providers offer better value for money.

If you are in Cape Town and do not experience this, you are missing out on one of the most extraordinary perspectives of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I highly recommend Sport Helicopter Rides based in the V&A Waterfront. Staff is highly qualified and put passengers safety and experience at the top of the list. They have various sharing and private packages available at good prices. Any person, family and even groups, especially for tourist wanting the full tourist experience!

Such an amazing experience with Sport Helicopters Cape Town. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well looked after. A special thank you to Vuvu — she was incredible. So kind, patient, and helpful, especially helping us get on and off the helicopter. She really made us feel comfortable and cared for. Rudolph Ras, our pilot, was calm, confident and clearly skilled. He made sure we saw all the key locations in the city making the flight truly remarkably. Mable, our host, was warm, organised and genuinely caring. Mustapha made sure everything in the background ran smoothly and that we were comfortable the whole time. I’d definitely recommend them without hesitation.
