3 Adults and 1 teenager arrived in MOAB for our “Canyonlands Adventure”. “Hey, can we take a helicopter ride over MOAB so we can see what it has instore for us over the next 3 days” Based on reviews we called Pinnacle Air, it was late in the day but a very cheerful Ellie answered the phone. After navigating our accents (NZ), we decided that 2 20 min flights were what suited us the best. “Oh you want to go tomorrow, my pilot Spencer has the day off tomorrow, but let me call him and find out if he can come in”. Great customer services already, and no money had changed hands yet. Spencer made himself available…whooohooo! Our 20 min flights were more 25mins and Spencer filled the time with great information and interesting facts about the area…without his information we would have driven right by the dinosaur foot prints (which are 7 mins drive from the airport and not very well signposted). One of our party was quite nervous about flying in a small helicopter…Spencer’s manner was calm and confident with a touch of humour which gave our party member a lot of confidence. In all it was a great experience and money well spent.
