We absolutely loved the Kohala tour!!! The views were stunning! Doug was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming with our check in and return. Our pilot, Connor, was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get a closer look at whales! Highly recommend this tour. The experience and views are worth it. 🙌 ❤️

WOW!!! What an amazing experience! Three of us from our party went on the doors off helicopter tour around the island. The tour starts with a quick overview of what not to do. You’ll need to leave everything except for your cell phone in an unsecured locker there. They provide cell phone holders that go around your neck so you can take pictures. Seeing so many different sights from the sky was amazing! Especially Pearl Harbor! Our tour was about 75-80 minutes. If you remember bring a sweatshirt. You won’t need it initially but once you get around the other side of the island you’ll be happy you have it on! It’s much much cooler on the other side. What an amazing experience and a beautiful day for a flight!
Simply amazing! Probably one of the best tour I have been on. We took one of the most expensive options with landing and it was well worth it. The landscape is so varied, seeing the bare lava fields on one side of the island and the lush rainforest on the other was incredible. Our pilot, Donavan, had 20 years flying experience and was a great guide throughout. For those that are worried about taking a helicopter flight, don’t be. Throughout the tour, safety came first. At no point we felt nervous or worried.
Nice staff. Crazy strict policy about being late (if your late lose all your money). Three people were in my group, the flight cost $2000 for a two hour trip. We paid for a co-pilot (not sure in charge maybe $200) and two window seats ($50 each). We flew with a couple. The pilot was great! We all had window seats. With one unoccupied seat in the middle. Very detecting to charge an option for a window seat when people get windows no matter what. It may be more productive to give a discount to the person sitting in the middle. The views were great of the volcanoes and old lava flow. I would advise you to research other companies and make an informed decision. This was overpriced for us for the service we received.
