The flight and pilot were fantastic! Amazing experience. I cried. Twice. They don't tell you in the info email to leave your purse behind. I would have traveled differently had I known that. Took one star away because they made us wait for a long time after our scheduled flight, cutting in to the time we have on our trip to explore. Not one person came to tell us why or even that it was delayed. I think they did it in the hopes more people would show up for the flight as it was just my husband and I waiting. If we had been told this I would have cancelled. My time is important to me, and this left a bad taste in my mouth. When we finally asked about our flight, they got us right on.

I Google searched for helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon, and found Papillion Helicopter tours. My wife and I live in Southeast Asia. But having grown up in the USA 🇺🇸 it was time to see the Grand Canyon. The 7th Natural Wonder of the World was on the bucket list. Online booking was clear and easy. We found our date and booked. The cancellation policy was clear. We requested to sit up front and their policy on this was also clear and concise. We ended up needing to make a last minute schedule change. We called and the support team was very helpful and changed our schedule tour time. We arrived and watched the briefing video and were ready to go. A Safety Officer guided us to helo pad, and we boarded the helo. It was my wife's first flight in helo. I had the privilege of spending time on the birds in the military. We joked, "helos don't fly, they beat the air into submission." We take off and head for the Canyon, while the pilot, Hayden narrated. Hayden was awesome (Semper Fi), we couldn't have asked for a better pilot. We covered a lot of ground with near perfect weather. We couldn't have asked for a better day to fly. A helo tour is truly the only way to see the vastness of the Canyon. Everyone needs to do this once. Flighting pass "Battleship" has fantastic. The views were spectacular. Be sure to book with Papillon Helicopter tours. It was such a great time, we even purchased some of the touristy souvenirs. The photo of the two of us was great. We picked one of Papillion's pullover sweaters. It was very reasonably priced, and it genuinely looks great. We should have purchased two. Be sure to tour with them, and ask for Hayden as your pilot! 🚁

This was an unforgettable experience! The helicopter ride was smooth and breathtaking from start to finish, and the views over the Grand Canyon were absolutely unreal. Our pilot Justin was a total rocket – incredibly skilled, confident, and made the whole flight feel exciting and safe at the same time. He gave us great commentary, hit all the best angles for pictures, and kept the energy high throughout the tour. If you’re thinking about doing a helicopter tour, do it! This was one of the best experiences of my life. Highly recommend!

Wow, great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, professional crew. After the safety briefing we were ready to go…and it was worth it every second of the trip. This was my first Vegas visit since 2017. This tour was the main reason for the trip! IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT!!! #1 thing to do when in Vegas. I flew in on Sunday and landed around 9:30. Was in my car rental by 10:15. The drive from the airport is only about 2 hours. It is a little confusing once you get to the Canyon. The checkpoint employee guided me to the visitor center. That is not where you want to go. They are located in the brown building to the left. I was lucky enough to do the tour solo. The photos do not do this trip justice! IT IS BREATHTAKING!!! Being able to see the Canyon from the air and on the water was amazing. The staff had amazing customer service. Everyone was polite and accommodating. The pilot was superb, very kind. She made it feel like I was flying with a friend. The boat driver was great too. He was from the local tribe and very knowledgeable about the history of the Canyon. I think I will do a Grand Canyon tour every time I am in Vegas!!!
