Gokul and his team were super helpful and communicative from our very first enquiry, answering all questions and concerns we had. After flight delays and cancellations to get to Lukla, Gokul worked hard to get alternative options to make sure we had enough time to complete the trek. Our guide, Som, was the absolute best! Very knowledgeable and experienced. Special thanks to our porters also, staying with the group to be an extra helping hand. Som adapted our itinerary due to injury and illness to make sure we all made it to Base Camp (definitely wouldn’t have made it without him). We did Annapurna circuit for 10 days Gokul the owner of Outshine Tours managed to arrange this in last minute as we originally booked Everest Base Camp but flights was cancelled twice due to bad weather. He went above and beyond to make our trekking the most memorable one. The views of this trekking was amazing, every place you pass takes your breath away, our Tea houses are beautiful with our own private toilet. We thank Outshine Tours for this incredible adventure and highly recommended.
We completed the 18-day, High Pass Trek with Outshine Adventures and couldn't be more happy. Our guide Bishnu was incredibly friendly and patient. He took hundreds of pictures of us, and waited while we took thousands more! He acted as our hiking guide, our medic, our server (when ordering), our translator, our local historian, and even our wildlife spotting guide! On our trek he spotted for us the Himalayan Monal, the Himalayan Tahr, and the Golden Eagle, several times! Everywhere we stayed, both in Kathmandu and along our trek were top notch. The staff were always friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the food was delicious. Even though we paid for the most basic package, Bishnu went out of his way to get us private rooms, private bathrooms, hot showers and free wifi wherever he could. One thing we also appreciated was that Outshine Adventures carried fresh produce for us on the trek, making sure that we had fresh fruit every day. At one point during the trek, one of us did get altitude sickness, but with Bishnu and our porters, we felt very safe. They handled the situation very professionally and made sure that we didn't take any unnecessary risks. Bishnu was able to pivot on the spot, getting us down to a lower elevation (where we stayed for several days). He organized local day hikes for the rest of us while our friend recovered, and in the end, we were all able to finish the entire trek! We'd highly recommend Outshine Adventures for any of your trips to Nepal. If we can ever save enough money to go back, we would go with them again in a heartbeat.
