Couldn’t speak more highly of the experience. My mom told me recently that riding a helicopter was an item on her bucket list; I’ve lived in Austin for decades and always wanted to explore it from the sky. We found Austin Heli Tours online and signed up for the Lake Travis/Downtown tour the following day. Smooth signup, easy process. Our pilot was so fun and took great care of us — she “read the room” very well and provided a tour that matched our comfort level but stretched us a little once we were ready. My mom felt completely safe the whole time, which surprised both of us! Strongly recommend you check this out.

Did a discovery flight with Meech, and she was amazing! Super knowledgeable and showed me Austin’s amazing sites! Definitely recommend doing this for a fun flight to see the city with friends or as a cute date!

I booked this helicopter ride in Austin as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and excitement that instantly set the tone. Meech made us feel completely at ease and customized the experience to make it extra special for my husband’s big day. She shared great stories about Austin’s landmarks, gave us insider tips on what we were seeing below, and even positioned the helicopter perfectly so we could capture an incredible sunset photo together. Incredible! My wife and I were on vacation in the Austin area and we're looking for our next adventure. We booked the Lake Austin Tour online and it turned out great! The views from the air are more beautiful than I could have imagined. Meech, our pilot made us feel welcomed. Not only is she a skilled pilot, she also doubled as a wonderful tour guide. The tour was so much fun, I booked the Discovery Flight Tour for the next day. I arrived the next day and Meech started with some ground training which included the principles of flight, flight control familiarization and a safety briefing. Once in the air, I received more instruction and was given the opportunity to take control of the aircraft (under the watchful eye of Meech). It was incredible! Thanks to Austin Heli Tours, Meech and Luke for making the stay in Texas so memorable. I'll be booking again on my next visit! Oh, the R44 Raven II was one of the stars of the show as well. Beautiful aircraft!

Michelle who was the pilot for our tour over Austin downtown is amazing!! Excellent pilot and fun to fly with This rating would be a 4 star if not for Michelle and the rest of the personnel. The flight itself and overall experience out of the FBO were awesome. A good portion of the total flight time is spent getting to downtown and the tour is advertised as a downtown tour. Despite this, the views and how close you get to the city are incredible and an experience I urge everyone to check out. So fun!! You can even hang your feet out of the chopper if you book a doorless ride. Huge shout-out to Michelle
