We spent three full days touring New Zealand with Trevor from Alpine Luxury Tours, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our trip included a full-day wine tour with lunch, where we sampled excellent wines—many of which are only available in New Zealand. The following day, we traveled to Oamaru for an overnight stay, and on our final day we drove to Flockhill Lodge at Lake Pearson. The journey itself was stunning, with plenty of scenic stops along the way. The van was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group of six.
The true highlight of the trip was Trevor. He was incredibly knowledgeable, endlessly entertaining, and fit in seamlessly with our group. He always knew the best places to stop, pointed out interesting sights along the way, and was consistently punctual with a great, positive attitude.

Yesterday was awesome. Andrew did a really great job… he took well timed breaks on the drive, got us a great lunch, gave good hiking directions and let us walk at a pace that suited all of us. I strongly recommend going to the end of the hike. The views are amazing!

Sam was a wonderful host! Our experience was on 12/26/25. He picked us up in a very nice car, was an excellent driver, and informative guide. We had so much fun at Moke Lake and he even took us to another spot that was equally beautiful. We loved learning so much about New Zealand and its people and he did a great job with photo taking and providing morning tea. Cannot recommend Sam and this company highly enough!
Alpine Luxury Tours arranged various tour operators to plan two days worth of experiences for my family whilst staying in Queenstown. I organised this all from Australia before we left because I was time poor and didn’t want to communicate with various operators, bookings etc - instead opting for a one stop shop whereby Alpine Luxury Tours arranged everything for us. Lee was very helpful, offering suggestions in his emails as to what would work for our family. Our guides both days were full of local knowledge and suggestions as we toured Milford Sound, Glacier Landing, and Middle Earth. We also loved the ebike tour departing from Arrowtown, Shotover Jet, and lunch and private tastings and wineries.
I would recommend Alpine Luxury Tours to people who are chasing a stress free holiday without the time to reply to dozens of emails from various tour operators. We booked the Milford Sound tour that included a 5 hour drive (with many beautiful stops), a 1.75hr cruise, and a helicopter ride back to Queenstown (with an Alpine landing), and the tour was absolutely amazing. Trevor, our guide, was highly knowledgeable and stopped at unique locations where there were fewer buses and tourists. His knowledge and passion for New Zealand made the experience for us. Lee was communicative and helped make the arrangements. Finally, the helicopter flight back was a fantastic way to see Fjordland National Park's remote region's and the alpine landing was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you don't want to deal with driving yourself.
