Unparalleled views provided by a first rate outfit. After a boat tour cancelled on us, we couldn't believe our luck finding Alpine Air. Our helicopter tour LANDED ON Colony glacier, setting down just 50 short yards from that big bright beautiful blue wall of ice. Our pilot was great (Thanks again, Bob), cool, knowledgeable without being pedantic, just an easy dude. He was sly about it, but I think he took us off the usual route trying to find us moose, and he delivered. Our second landing was on a flat spot, high on a mountain top, overlooking a confluence of several glacial flows. Incredible, like standing at the top of the world. I cannot recommend this group and this experience enough. Book this tour and I hope you get Bob.

I highly recommend Alpine Air Alaska. We booked a beautiful tour of the glaciers and were in awe of the beauty of Alaska that you can only experience in the air. The office staff was very kind in preparing us for the experience. Our pilot, Ryan, is an exceptional pilot which made the ride very smooth and fun; furthermore he was very knowledgeable in every aspect of our tour. It was "pretty cool".

Went on the Glacier Discovery tour. Unfortunately, we had to skip the glacier landing due to weathers, but we still had an incredible time. I had seen multiple hanging glaciers and glacier faces before via boat or hiking, but this helicopter tour allowed me to experience how colossal and striking glaciers can be. I’d highly recommend this operator to anyone. Every single one of the staff was super nice, kind, and helpful. The reservation team worked with my schedule to arrange a last minute tour and transfer. Kris picked us up from Anchorage and told us many interesting tales about Alaska and his life. And Jonathan, our pilot/guide was awesome! He ensured we saw great views and made sure we returned safely despite all the turbulence. He also helped us spot the trifecta of brown bears, moose, and goats in the wild, which was a pleasant surprise. And it’s always a good sight when your guide is as excited about the scenery as you are. Jonathan absolutely made the trip wonderful and enjoyable despite all the winds and turbulence.

We booked Alpine Air for a glacier elopement and were so happy with the results! Since we had two separate helicopters the staff worked with us to keep my husband and I separate so that we could do our first look out at the glacier. Their pilots were also wonderful! They worked well with our photographers to find the perfect spot for the ceremony, took us to a second location for more photos, and even picked me a bouquet of wildflowers since I forgot my flowers! Truly great service!

Quite Possibly one of the top 2 excursions we took on our Alaska Adventure. The Helicopter trip - while short - was a fantastic trip. The Pilot was chatty - Flight was smooth - 5-stars for this segment. Then we experienced the Sled Dog Team and got to go mushing. WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Can't recommend enough. The staff was incredible, the dogs were so fun and interesting and then the mushing on a Glacier - absolutely more than we could have asked or imagined. EVERYONE was incredible. Can't thank the staff enough for their attention to details and taking care of our needs so well. We felt spoiled from the first step into the office - to the first steps on the glacier - to the return trip. This was truly a 5+ STAR Experience. Thank you Alpine Air. Simply Outstanding.
