You have to book ahead of time and can only get a refund if they don't fly. Here's the kicker. They fly when the island is covered in clouds and rain. 15 to 20 mph winds. They don't care about the product they put out. We didn't see much of the interior of the island. We didn't see Jurassic falls, any of the craters, or much else. We were told 100 times how beautiful the rain is. Suppose to make the waterfalls spectacular. They might have but we never saw the falls. People talk about looking down on whole rainbows, we only saw portions. I sat in the left rear seat. Poor obstructed views. Hard to take pictures. Pilot definitely favored right hand side. I reached out to our travel agent and Kauai Air did refund our money.
