Out of this world Amazing! Sam Hebert was our very talented Pilot, he was extremely knowledgeable and always knew when to throw in the odd joke here and there, he took us right up close to the Canyon, For anyone who is thinking about doing this, it’s 100% worth it! The van picked us up and dropped us off promptly at our accommodation. I really enjoyed the experience. Our guide, MadDog, was very knowledgeable and friendly, personally attentive to all the passengers. He played music and shares knowledge of the topic. The only thing I'd like to mention is that the three of us fit very tightly in the front seats, making for an uncomfortable ride. Otherwise, I highly recommend the experience. It's very enjoyable and unique.
We did the Valley of fire tour. Excellent tour the only way to encompass the size and beauty of the Grand Canyon. Start out by leaving a comfortable lounge and heading toward Lake Mead with it's amazing views of the Hoover dam. Next continue on until you get the breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon. From the air this canyon is truly amazing. The size and beauty with the perfect time of day make this experience incredible. Drop inside and tour the canyon from an unbelievable vantage point. Sam our pilot was fantastic, pointing out everything worthwhile. Sam was very professional and knowledgeable. Couldn't of asked for a better pilot for our trip. Excellent tour.
Absolutely the Best. My Wife Loved it. Our pilot "Mad Dog Mike" was the best. So much history about the canyon and beautiful views. Even got to sit up front. Next visit we'll stay over night at the Ranch. You've got to do this.
I booked the helicopter tour with horse riding at the ranch. It was absolutely amazing. Booking was easy and the team answered my questions swiftly, they got in touch for organising the pickup from the hotel. Very kind and helpful. The flight with our pilot Eddie was fun and interesting. All feels a bit surreal, like in a dream. 🤩 The horse riding was wonderful. We walked a trail. It was not difficult but you should feel comfortable on a horse as the path is uneven and it goes up and down. Lunch was entertaining as Arizona Casey gave an awesome performance. I will do the tour again. It was fantastic. Thank you everyone!!! ❤️
We have done helicopter rides before in other locations, but 5 Star is definitely the best!! The pick up van was spotless and the driver was so polite and kind. The helicopter was again very clean and well maintained. The crew could not be any nicer and very knowledgeable. Our pilot was Mike and he was amazing, knowledgeable and so passionate about the Grand Canyon!! He was the BEST and I would highly recommend 5 Star it was an experience my husband and I will never forget!!
My helicopter ride from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon was amazing. We stopped at an old ranch where I went to the rifle range and did a little practicing. The views of the Grand Canyon were spectacular. I got to sit up front next to the pilot, so I had a great view. The pilot was female and was very detailed in describing the history of the area and explaining exactly were we were because the view from above is completely different from ground level. Well worth the money.
