What a wonderful experience, it was my 75 th birthday and I have always wanted to fly in a helicopter. Richie our pilot was fantastic and made me feel completely at ease. I was a bit daunted by not having a door but I did it anyway👏 An amazing memory to have shared with my daughter. Thanks Richie and Frontier.

KAS Helicopters (Frontier) headed up by captain Pedro took us on the adventure of a lifetime from Derby to The Horizontal Falls. It was such a fantastic day, something we will never forget. We have been on a few helicopter rides now and I would rate Pedro as one of the best pilots we’ve had. An example: there was a bit of cross wind during one section so he slowed the helicopter down until we got through it to avoid sudden jolts which may have caused sickness. He also flew through one of the canyons on the way home.(wow) then went low to show us a few salt water crocs. The Horizontal Falls themselves were amazing. Food awesome and shark show fabulous. We highly recommend this tour to anyone. Something you will never forget!
Arriving in Derby for a holiday by public transport, we were relying on a rep from Frontier Tours to save the day…and the cost of a taxi to the airport for the excursion of a lifetime. Pedro our pilot called me and we arranged to meet for our airport ride. Forget the cost as we already have and get ready for one of the highlights of your life. The astonishing river flats on departure from Derby. The views of the Horizontal falls and Montgomery Reef as the tide recedes with the stunning backdrop of Cyclone Bay and the nearby mountain ranges bathed in a cloudless sky. The giant turtles swimming in the clear blue waters and the two+ hours flew by and the trip was over. A day to remember and experiences shared and to be shared as we recall memories of this experience.
