I have had a great experience at US Flight Co. I just passed my CFI checkride and couldn’t be happier. My instructor, Jayden Oshirak, made my time here very memorable. The CFI fast track program made the training easy. They had everything I needed to be successful. I am going to finish my CFII training with them. I highly recommend US Flight Co.
I booked a discovery flight with US Flight Co., and Jaden was my instructor. The price was super reasonable for about an hour of flying around Des Moines, and it was my first time flying a small plane. The whole experience was a blast. I was even able to bring a friend along to capture some footage, which made it even better. Jaden is extremely knowledgeable, calm, and an excellent pilot. He explained everything clearly and made the experience feel safe and exciting at the same time. If you’re curious about flying or want to learn more about their training programs, I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Getting my Private was a struggle at the former school I was at, no structure, no stage checks, and I ended up failing my initial checkride and spent double the amount of money that I should’ve. When I came to US Flight Co., I was welcomed with open arms, I was given lesson plans and had stage checks with other instructors as well as a final check with the chief instructor Josh. Evan Weaver, my instructor, was awesome! He got me to where I wanted to be and made sure that I was getting the knowledge and learning needed to accomplish my goals and I finished my instrument in half the amount of time it took for my private. First try first pass for this checkride! I can’t wait to keep moving forward with my commercial with US Flight Co!
Booked my son a Discovery Flight for his 16th birthday. He wants to be a pilot and we thought this would help him determine is thats the right path for him. He loved every second of it and said he is certain that's what he wants to do now. His instructor Cole was great, very nice young man who let me mom it out with lots of pics on the tarmac and of them by the plane before they got in and got started. Noah said he explained all the avionics and what was happening in detail.
I’ve been training with US Flight Co. since late 2024, and choosing this school was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my aviation journey. During my time here, I’ve earned my private pilot license and instrument rating, and the experience has been amazing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping their students succeed. Shoutout to my instructors Paul and Abby, they were the best and made my training so much fun! I can’t recommend US Flight Co. enough, I’m so grateful for the foundation they’ve given me for my aviation career!
