The best helicopter tour we’ve ever had! We’ve done other tours with other companies such as in Vegas and there is no comparison. We were in the air for about an hour with Peter who was a true pro and class act. Very knowledgeable and we learned things we didn’t know before. A very smooth ride and and incredible experience we will never forget. We will fly again with Peter and Group 3 any day. Thank you!
We went on the coast and canyons ride for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was an absolute treat and worth every penny. Peter was not only an amazing pilot but an amazing tour guide. Him and his wife made us feel safe and secure the entire time and took pictures of us that’ll last a lifetime. I will definitely be booking in the future for our next occasion. My breath is still taken away.
We had an amazing Hollywood & The Beach Tour provided by Peter and Claudia! This was a birthday surprise for my fiancé and I could not have found a better company to make it so nice and special. Their small business provides an excellent service and experience from start to finish. They were great at communication right from the first call to book the tour. They made sure to call us and give us some options due to the weather forecast for our original time and date. They were flexible, accommodating and always very friendly. Peter was our pilot and he did an excellent job making sure that our safety comes first and that we had a great experience while being in the sky. He was a perfect tour guide in the sky as he told us so much interesting information and pointed out all the key sights. He also made me feel at ease as I am afraid of heights and it was my first helicopter ride…he did so well, I completely forgot about my fear! If you want to have a memorable helicopter ride experience over LA, then I fully recommend Group3 Helicopters! What an amazing experience! Peter and Claudia are excellent owners and pilots. This is a small, family owned business! We rode with Peter who was not only a great pilot but was able to call out some great landmarks along the way. There's no other way to experience the sheer size of LA except from the air! For those with motion sickness, I think you'll be pretty good here. I can't ride with other people in a car but I had no issues with the helicopter. There's nearly a 360° view in the front, and a solid 180° view or better from back seats. You'll probably feel eerie or fearful right after takeoff, but that feeling subsides pretty quickly. Be sure to grab take the complete flight, because there's lots to see! Especially the canyons! Pictures do not do justice, you need to be up in the sky for the full experience. I booked the Hollywood/Beach sunset tour for my husband’s 30th birthday this weekend and we both loved the experience! I get motion sickness pretty easily so I was quite nervous about this but I took some Dramamine and it must have helped because I had a BLAST with my husband on the helicopter. I had called the office a few days before and spoke with Claudia and Peter and they were both super professional, kind, and informative. They answered all of my questions and made me feel secure about the tour. Peter turned out to be our pilot and he was absolutely great. He pointed out major sights as we flew over them and also pointed out great shots for pictures. We were both in awe of the whole experience. I was definitely shocked but very happy that I didn’t get nauseous. It’s actually less scarier than you think once you’re on the helicopter because it feels like you’re floating (Peter was great at making sure it was a smooth ride). We will definitely be coming back in the future (can’t wait!!!). Thank you to everyone at Group 3 Aviation.
