Great experience with Glacier Helicopter. Our pilot Joshua (if I remember correctly) was very friendly, and flight was smooth and steady. Breathtaking views! My future husband booked a 30 minutes flight. The pilot dropped us at a water fall and lake area, and waited there for40 minutes. Then he proposed to me !!! The price was reasonable for the whole trip!!! Highly recommend!
We decided today very spontaneous to ask for a Scenic flight around Revelstoke… and we didn‘t got dissapointed 🤩 Eric was our pilot, explained us all the possible tours, so we decided for the 40 min. Glacier tour around Revelstoke. He explained us everything in detail during the flight and it was absolutely stunning! As Swiss you are used to mountajns and this landscape… but its although different since we don‘t have „flat“ mountains and lakes on this altidude. Amazing Glaciers… its just another level than Switzerland 😊 Thanks Eric for being our host and to the whole team to build up such a great company! 🙏
I would like to share my experience with Glacier Helicopters in Revelstoke. In early July 2025, my family of four stopped by their office while visiting Revelstoke and decided to take a helicopter tour. Although the weather was a bit windy, we were assured it would not affect the flight. We returned to the office around 3 PM that afternoon, when the weather had cleared up—sunny with just a few clouds. Our pilot, Joshua (if I remember correctly), prepared the beautiful helicopter for our trip. We flew for approximately 45 minutes, reaching altitudes of about 200 to 300 meters above the mountains. While the helicopter experienced some slight shakiness due to the wind, the pilot flew very steadily throughout the journey. Joshua was friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting commentary on the local trees, wildlife, snow-covered summits, and even pointing out an old mountain house. The entire experience was amazing—we had never flown in a helicopter like this before. Overall, the price was affordable and absolutely worth it for my family. I highly recommend Glacier Helicopters for anyone visiting the area!
Incredible experience and worth the splurge! My husband and I booked the 18 minute tour over the Jordan River + Revelstoke Lake and to be honest I was a little bit worried 18 minutes would be a bit too short and I would be left disappointed and wanting more. Thankfully, I was wrong. It was amazing! 18 minutes flight time didn't feel too short or underwhelming in the least. The views were incredible. The pilot was fantastic and was very informative about the area. We'll definitely try to come back for another tour next time we're in Revelstoke. Thank you Glacier Helicopters!! It was without a doubt, one of the coolest things I've done in my life. If you're on the fence about booking a tour, don't be. Just do it. It's worth it.
Absolutely amazing experience. We did the 60 minute Ultimate Glacier Tour. Our pilot Eric was wonderful - such informative and interesting commentary, incredibly knowledgable about the peaks, glaciers, ranges, chalets, lakes etc and answered all of our questions willingly. An absolute must do for anyone visiting Revelstoke.
