I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a helicopter ride with Rogue Aviation out of Long Beach as a birthday surprise from my wife, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From start to finish, the entire experience was surreal and exhilarating. The team at Rogue Aviation was outstandingly professional and friendly, and James, our pilot, made the whole ride both safe and thrilling. He even let me take the controls for a moment, which was an unforgettable experience! Seeing Los Angeles from the sky is a whole new perspective that I’d recommend to anyone—whether you’re a pilot enthusiast or just looking for a unique way to enjoy the city. Five stars all the way!

I can’t say enough great things about Rogue Aviation in Long Beach, Ca. and my flight instructor, Tom Schneider. Every lesson with Tom keeps me sharp and on my toes, and it’s clear he gives 110% of his knowledge and energy to make sure I truly understand what I’m learning. He’s not only an amazing pilot, but also the best instructor I could ask for—patient, professional, and always pushing me to be better. From booking to the actual flight, the experience was perfect. Carrie was very helpful in helping me book the flight I wanted. Great communication and customer service. During the flight, Tom was the pilot showing me around LA. He did a great job showing me points of interests and had some good conversations throughout the flight. He also communicated with me very well and made the experience worthwhile. Definitely recommend this company.

I recently completed a discovery flight in the R-22 at Rogue Aviation, and it was exactly what I needed to get back in the saddle before starting my CFI/CFII training. As a former Army pilot who's been away from flying for a while, I couldn’t have asked for a better reintroduction. James (the owner) and Carrie (office manager) were both incredibly attentive, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process—from scheduling to briefing. Tom, my instructor, was friendly, knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel welcome. His calm, confident approach set the tone for a great flight. The aircraft was in excellent condition, and the hour-long flight gave me just the right amount of hands-on time to shake off the rust and get excited about training again.
